CANCELLED: Making the Journey from Project Manager to Agile Product Manager

“Agile Product Managers are not Project Managers” is a well-known truth in agile project management. However, project managers have many skills that can transfer into the product management role. In this session, I will explain how project managers can retrain themselves to become effective product managers for agile project management (with an emphasis on the Scrum methodology). Specifically:

1. What is the role of the product manager and how is it similar and different from project management?
2. How project managers have an advantage in dealing with stakeholders.
3. What project managers need to UNLEARN to be effective product managers.
