Phim is a Hmong-American refugee who is interested in using art and design-thinking to impact sociocultural innovation. She is a marketing solutions manager at the Washington Post, where she leverages her strategic marketing and creative storytelling expertise to support democracy and the free press.
Phim is an alum of POLITICO, as well as Syracuse University, where she studied creative advertising from the Newhouse School and political science and policy from the Maxwell School. When she is not storyboarding and designing, she is leading art and design workshops, mentoring and connecting creatives in the DC scene, and working on diversity and female empowerment initiatives. She is also an active member of AIGA's National Diversity & Inclusion Taskforce, AIGA DC, LeadIN and WGR. This is also her sixth year fundraising for charity: water.
