Slides and/or recordings for sessions are now available! The session description pages will include links to the YouTube recording as well as the slides. If a session does not have either a recording or the slides, it's because the speaker hasn't provided them to us. We are still reminding speakers to upload their materials.
News & Updates
There were so many awesome sessions this year, that we know there's no way you made it to all of them. We will be posting session recordings and slides, but we are still pulling all of them together.

Seriously, a Macbook Pro is the grand prize we'll be giving out at the closing ceremony on Friday afternoon.
So, you might be wondering, how do you win this prize? Well, this year, we're adding an interactive fun activity for everyone to participate. It's the Drupal Scavenger Hunt.
We sold out the Room Block at the Doubletree. We have negotiated a new room block at the hotel right next door for anyone who hasn't yet booked a room. Yeah, us!

Thanks to our awesome community, we had nearly 200 session submissions! How crazy is that??? We worked with our speakers, moved some times around to adjust for speaker schedules, and now have a final schedule!
This year, part of our Trainings curriculuum are two amazing half day sessions. There's Breakthrough Project Portfolio Performance from Fortezza Consulting and for the Drupal beginners out there we have Getting Started with Drupal from Fig Leaf Software. But it's probably better if we break this down a little into digestible chunks of awesomeness with some info on both of the presenters, their companies and what you might get out of the Tuesday half day trainings (ps, get your tickets ASAP before they're all gone!). So, without further delay, let's take a little look under the hood at Fig Leaf Software and also at Fortezza Consulting...
I've been working with Capital Camp, Drupal Government Days and now Drupal GovCon since the start. Clearly, I need more of a life, but I digress. From the start, under the escalator in Chicago with Betsy and Kieran, we really just wanted to make sure our little event provided great training for all attendees. But this year, with our new name, the Core Code Sprint (don't forget to sign up), Webchick keynoting, and the tremendous response we got from session submissions (almost 170 for just 76 spots, just amazing), we just had to kick training butt, right? I mean, come on we totally had to kick this training thing up a notch, right?
I'm thrilled to be writing this announcement because this person was one of the first people I met in the Drupal community. She was definitely the highest profile one I'd met and there I was, one of 3 women in my class being taught by the likes of Eaton, Randy Fay and Webchick.
At Drupal GovCon, join us for Drupal 8 Core extended sprints all week starting July 22nd, including Friday contrib sprints.
But maybe you're asking yourself, what is a "Sprint"? Keep reading, let's answer those questions!!
We are excited to announce that Drupal GovCon has a block of rooms at the DoubleTree Bethesda Hotel, July 20 - July 24.
