Faced with managing multiple code bases for legacy agency web sites, WebNY found a way to deliver a bleeding-edge Drupal 8 platform to support hundreds of agency web sites on a single distribution by leveraging Minimum Viable Product, (MVP) and incremental delivery.
This session will explore the program and technical challenges overcome by the State of New York Information Technology Services division which included defining an MVP features set across multiple agencies, planning a long term feature roadmap, and implementing Agile on Drupal 8 with continuous development and automated testing as part of a state-wide initiative consolidate the implementation and management of the WebNY online presence.
