Panic-Free Project Prep

Presenters: Danielle_Sheffler

According to reports, 25% of tech projects fail outright, 20-25% don’t lead to a return on investment, and up to 50% require a complete overhaul when they’re finished. Some of the reasons cited are no defined or poorly defined outcomes and solving the wrong problem. So how do we prevent these failures from occurring?

We often start projects thinking about customer requirements, project plans, and implementation plans. But what about the steps before that - the information that the client should bring to us to ensure success? This presentation lays out the ten steps that a customer can take to help set the project up for success by discovering goals across departments, decreasing training costs, decreasing website revisions, and avoiding a rushed user interface and implementation.
