I am a Senior level Drupal developer and architect, placed for the last 2.5 years at the USDA Forest Service office of the CIO, working primarily on the FS HQ site, http://fs.fed.us under direction of the National Web Manager and Digital Visions teams.
During this time I have worked to bring better configuration management workflows to the web team, created a base distribution for other Forest Service sites, aided in transition to a Bootstrap responsive theme, as well as leading development on several major features, such as importing recreation data, creating the new Inside the Forest Service sub-site, enabling multilingual capability to the site, aiding in the development of an import of USAJobs Search results, and more.
Prior to government placement, I worked for a couple of years at NBCNews.com as a Software Development Engineer 2, which meant I was Drupal developer working on the back-end of NBCNews.com and Today.com. Before that I had worked for several agencies and freelance on many well known sites, such as Intuit, The Martin Luther King Jr. Foundation, The Grammy's, Lady Antebellum, Dreamhack, and more. Many many fun sites!
When I am not pushing the FS site's limits, I am off spending time with my wife and 3 kids and 4 ragdoll cats. Achoo.
