Bryan Hirsch is the product owner of Mass.gov for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Mass.gov is the state’s digital front door, aiming to provide constituents the easiest, fastest path to services provided by over 140 state agencies and organizations. Work-in-progress on the new Drupal-based Mass.gov platform is live at pilot.mass.gov. Prior to Mass.gov, Bryan was a software engineer and solutions architect for Acquia where he helped build and launch products to support large scale Drupal implementations and advanced security solutions including Site Factory, Shield, and Cloud Edge. As the tech lead for web development at the White House between 2012 and 2015, Bryan’s team migrated the White House’s web properties to the cloud, fulfilled the President’s commitment to open source petitions.whitehouse.gov, drafted the White House’s API standards, and built the federal government’s first public write API.
