Virtual Help Desk Duties

Before you begin volunteering

  • Make sure you are registered for 2020 Drupal GovCon.
  • Join Drupal GovCon 2020 slack workspace and the following slack channels:  #volunteer-support and #help-general.

Before you begin volunteering, please check-in in the #volunteer-support slack channel.

Duties:

  • Field any questions coming from #help-general slack channel.  Assist and answer conference or session related questions.
  • Tier 1 HelpDesk Support. 
    • Basic help desk tech support for installing, joining or using Zoom and/or YouTube Live.
  • Session Zoom room or keynote volunteers may need assistance with Zoom.  Helpdesk volunteers will work with Drupalgovcon organizers or participants.
  • Collect session counts from Zoom room session volunteers and enter them in the volunteer schedule.
  • Field tech support issues to the Tier 2:  
    • In depth tech support volunteers
