Code Contribution 101 - Part 2 (49 min)
Come for the code, stay for the community.
Drupal thrives on its community! Contributing can be accomplished many different ways! From patch contributions to documentation related to core or contributed modules. Each task increases developer confidence and adds to your experience, which, in turn, leads to more contributions. All with the goal of moving the project forward and staying relevant.

Code Contribution 101
Wednesday, September 23rd - 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Together we'll discuss what we can do as a community to foster new contributors and keep the ones we already have. There will be demonstrations of the issue queue workflow and how to give back to Drupal documentation. We'll even take a look at the upcoming GitLab contribution process because specific tools and processes change over time. Presentation will be given by AmyJune Hineline, who’s an Open Source Community Ambassador @ Kanopi Studios. With a dual focus on both open-source community development and inclusivity, she’s uniquely positioned to help individuals become more comfortable as they contribute. As a self described non-coder, AmyJune helps communities discover how they can contribute and belong in more ways than coding.
