This track is focused on developers and the back-end technologies to deal with today’s and future challenges. With the coming release of Drupal 8, as well as emerging Web technologies, preparation is essential. These sessions will help you learn how to deliver effective solutions to meet these needs.
Embracing new technologies is difficult, especially for seasoned I.T. veterans with established workflows. In this session we will demonstrate the most productive path from idea to implementation and the difference that DevOps and workflow automation can make for Information Technology providers.
In order to drive our point we are going to take a shot at the old fashioned “do everything manually” workflow cycle, by pitting Dan Reif, Director of Engineering at BlackMesh, against Aaron Porter, Partnership Sales Lead at BlackMesh, in a head to head competition. We will be focusing on the speed at which code changes can be committed across different environments and aim to unequivocally demonstrate that without DevOps you’re working in the past, and your standard workflow is about to become extinct.
