Q: What is Drupal?

Drupal is an open source content management system software.  Learn more about Drupal on Drupal.org.

Q: Who attends Drupal GovCon?

This 3 day Drupal Government Conference is for anyone interested in learning Drupal and connecting with the Drupal community.  There will also be specific content targeted to Drupal for government web solutions.

Q: Do I need to be proficient in Drupal to participate in the camp?

The session schedule will provide learning opportunities for every level of Drupaler, whether you are just starting to learn Drupal or if you are an advanced Drupal developer.  If you are a beginner, we suggest you register for one of the trainings offered during the camp to get you ready to learn!

Q: What are the session track topics?

The session tracks include:

  • Business and Strategy
  • Code and DevOps
  • Site Building
  • Front End, UX & Design

Q: Who can submit a session?

Anyone can submit a session and we encourage you to do so! A committee of volunteers will vote on what sessions get accepted and will build the session schedule.

Q: What important dates should I know about?

April 17th, 2015 is the last day to submit a session. 

July 22nd - 24th, 2015 to attend Drupal GovCon

Q: What do I need to bring to Drupal GovCon?

We suggest a computer/tablet if you want to take notes during the sessions.  Remember to bring a charger!
