Dr. Dannielle Blumenthal is a communications pioneer. She began her career in branding at Young & Rubicam's Brand Futures Group/Intelligence Factory, and launched pioneering social media programs externally and internally at The Brand Consultancy, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and USAID. She currently serves as the communications director of the Advanced Manufacturing Program at the National Institute of Science and Technology.
A frequently sought-after speaker and frequently published author and lecturer, Dr. Blumenthal is a regular contributor to GovExec.com on the topics of leadership and communication. She holds a B.A. in interdisciplinary studies/creative writing (SUNY Empire State College, 1991); a Ph.D. in sociology (CUNY Graduate Center, 1997); and Graduate Certification in Organization Development (Fielding University, 20015).
