Our Journey to Agile - case study of a small agency moving toward an agile delivery model

As a boutique digital agency we strive to do two things well: 

1. Provide a high-touch experience to our customer support

2. Focus our internal resources so that they can contribute their best work to projects

This session will walk you through our journey to an agile delivery model in order to better serve our customers and employees.  Together we will explore the conclusions we came to based on the following questions:  

•  How do we use an agile approach with such a small development team? 
• Our clients are not "agile" themselves.  How do we include them in this process? 
• What is the best way to roll this out in the least disruptive manner as possible?
• Does it made sense for all components of a project to be agile? What were the considerations when deciding from project to project what made the most sense.
• Should our approach could differ between projects depending on what we knew of the client?
• How flexible  should we be while also trying to create standards?
• Where are we finding the experience for our clients was most lacking and how did we think agile approach would address these areas to create a better client experience?
