Design Thinking (DT) has come a long way from its origins at IDEO and the Stanford d School. Along with its renown, there have been fair amounts of controversies and misconceptions. As with any methodology, Design Thinking’s success depends on how you apply it. From personal experience, I’ll show how you can successfully apply it to your own wicked challenges.
In this session, I’ll cover:
- History and overview of Design Thinking
- I’ll show you what project types are a good fit for DT—and which aren’t.
- Process overview—and how you can implement it with your team.
- Synopsis of successful projects where Design Thinking was applied.
This session, like Design Thinking at its core, is for to attendees all experience levels, and specialties, who are interested in trying new approaches to meeting challenges on their projects.
