HopeOneSource is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit social technology for good within the D.C. metro region that closely partners with government and open source organizations to support local efforts that help prevent and end homelessness.
They began partnering with governments in 2015, and have found winning strategies for public and private open source partnerships. Moreover, for the second year in a row, the homeless population has dropped and hypothermia deaths have greatly reduced where this technology is active.
