This is NOT a session about upgrading to Drupal 8 (or 9, for that matter).
This IS a session for people who have projects that keep limping along in Drupal 7 and there's no time or budget in sight to upgrade. This is about limiting pain points and making upkeep easier so that you can spend more time on creating that migration plan.
Some of the pain points we'll address:
- Simplifying Admin UI
- Site testing and monitoring
- Working with modules that are no longer maintained
- Refresh your UI using modern front-end frameworks (going headless)
(A version of this talk has been previously presented at Drupaldelphia and Drupalcamp ATL. This version is tuned more for site builders.)
